Cellnex Poland introduces changes in its structure and Management Board

January 11, Warsaw: Cellnex Poland introduces organizational changes effective from now on. These changes concern both the functional structure and the composition of the Management Board of Cellnex Poland and are aimed at simplification of governance structure and increasing the level of integration and efficiency across all Cellnex companies.

Following the completion of key tasks related to Cellnex’s market entry in Poland, Alexandre Mestre Molins (Deputy CEO, Cellnex Telecom) and Jose Manuel Aisa Mancho (CFO, Cellnex Telecom) stepped down from the Board, while the two remaining Board members were appointed to new positions, i.e. Santiago Argelich Hesse was appointed as President of the Management Board and Jose Maria Miralles Prieto General Counsel, Legal and Regulatory Affairs, Cellnex Telecom) was appointed Vice-President of the Management Board. At the same time, the following new members were appointed to the Management Board: Servando Sierra Marti (Commercial Director), Olamide Adesola Ajibola (Finance and Management Systems Director), Jacek Niewęgłowski (External Affairs and Business Transformation Director), Leszek Lis (Operations Director), Małgorzata Rozwałka-Tłok (People Director) and Ewa Derkacz-Smolna (Legal and Regulatury Affairs Director).

At the same time Commercial Area was rebuilt and expanded, in order to ensure that we serve our customers with more relevant and specific value propositions. The role of new Commercial Director will be taken by Servando Sierra, former Shared Services Director at Cellnex Poland. Mikołaj Skipietrow, who has previously been managing part of Commercial area, will be leaving our organization by the end of January ensuring the handover of his duties and during following months he will support Management Board in ensuring seamless transition.

We thank Mikołaj for contributing significantly to Cellnex’s early development in Poland. We wish him much success on his further professional path.

Revised Commercial Area will consist of three Units: Operators Unit, Enterprise Unit and Public sector & Transport Unit. They will be managed by Anna Karwowska-Wróbel, Marcin Augustyniak and Maciej Borucki, respectively. Anna and Maciej were already part of Cellnex Poland Team and Marcin Augustyniak has recently joined Cellnex as Head of Remer, now company of Cellnex.

After completing critical tasks related to Cellnex’s market entry in Poland, two members representing our parent company Cellnex Telecom stepped down from the Board and new members, managing key business areas in Poland, were appointed. Since we entered Polish market, the number and profile of our clients here has changed and increased, hence we have also significantly rebuilt our Commercial area, in order to better answer their needs. Building an effective and efficient operating model between the new commercial units and the other departments of our company will be crucial for us now.” – commented Santiago Argelich, President of Cellnex Poland Management Board.

All the changes are effective from now on, excluding the changes in the Management Board, which are binding from January 1, 2023.
