Cellnex Group signs contract with SIRESP, SA for the maintainance of the basic support infrastructure

Lisbon, December 27, 2022 – Following the press release made by SIRESP S.A. on December 6th, Cellnex hereby informs that it has signed a contract with SIRESP, SA for the provision of maintenance services for the basic support infrastructures for SIRESP (Integrated System for Emergency and Security Networks of Portugal).

The contract referred to above corresponds to lot 4 of the international public tender for the provision of services to SIRESP’s network and will have a duration of five years, for an amount that may reach 5.7 million euros.

The award of this lot reflects Cellnex Portugal’s strategy to consolidate its presence as one of the leading telecommunications infrastructure operators in the national market. With this award, Cellnex extends its portfolio of critical infrastructure support activities in support of the State’s emergency communications services.

Portugal thus becomes the third European country, among the twelve European countries where the Group is present, and in which it ensures the operation of infrastructure supporting emergency communication networks and services.
