Through the signing of a framework agreement, our clients lease space on our passive infrastructure to install their communications equipment. Our sites are highly attractive locations and become multi-operator sites under Cellnex’s management. We are prepared to offer a turnkey service to our hosts, including energy, connectivity to the site and operation and maintenance. This confer key advantages to our clients, such as cost reduction and financial flexibility, being Cellnex capable to invest in the infrastructure on their behalf.
We offer to our clients the possibility to build new sites on demand. Cellnex strategic focus and long term relationship with our clients, the operators, permits to acknowledge the best ever location for a new site. Taking care of this activity on behalf of our clients, guarantees the time-to-market, aligns both the operators and planning authorities requirements, and guarantees cost efficiency when developing adjacent assets (shelters, fibre, NOC, etc.).
Cellnex’s new built sites are rational; this can leverage remote area coverage projects and sustainable; zero emission sites are already under test in several environments.
Cellnex’s sites are first class sites, and to maintain this status over the years, a lot of works are required –from maintenance of the shelter to fibre optics deployment–. Generic works are included in our services fees, but we can also deliver ad-hoc works to our clients, such us replacing an antenna on the tower or providing extra available space in a shelter to host new equipment. Cellnex provides on behalf of our clients all required works in our sites, from the design of a new network (study) to the completion of its installation (work).
