These cooling methods are known for their exceptionally low electricity use. With a PUE of 1.2, Cellnex’s datacenters are very energy efficient, which also leads to a lower energy bill.

The Cellnex datacenters in the towers have been set up in a small-scale and modular fashion. This is prompted by the exterior and interior architecture of the data towers. The advantage of these modular datacenters is that we can set them up very quickly, in agreement with the latest technologies and in accordance with your specific wishes.
Thanks to the scalable layout, there is room for growth and we can quickly anticipate new technological developments. Furthermore, the lead time is particularly short. A datacenter with ten to twelve server racks can be completely realized within 2 months. Do you wish to use one or several racks in an existing datacenter? We can set that up for you within a week.
Cellnex is carrier neutral. You choose which carriers you want to connect with. You can use fiber optic cables, but thanks to the high attitude of the towers, at Cellnex you can opt for wireless transmission between your office and the datacenter in the tower. If you choose both options, you are ensured a connectivity guarantee of 99.999%
By applying innovative cooling solutions, such as Direct Free Air Cooling and groundwater cooling, our Efficiency (PUE) is one of the best of Europe. Cellnex cools the IT equipment bases on the ‘cold corridor principle’. Cellnex meets the requirements for datacenter temperature and air humidity tolerances outlined in AHSRAE TC9.2.
We guarantee the safety of every location with an access system. The personal RFID access pass takes you to the datacenter floor for which you are authorized. The floor can, if desired, be equipped with a biometrical access system, such as facial recognition or fingerprint. Of course, our datacenters have also been secured against break-ins according to the highest standards. Besides fences, every location is equipped with a camera system and detection system with active and passive sensors.
