FTSE Russell adds Cellnex Telecom to the FTSE4Good Index Series
- The company achieved an overall ESG Ratingof 3.6 out of 5, performing particularly well in governance (4.5 out of 5) and social responsibility (4 out of 5).
- The company achieved the highest possible rating (5 out of 5) for labour standards and anti-corruption measures.
Barcelona, January 19th 2017. Cellnex Telecom has just joined the FTSE4Good Index Series, which recognises good practices of listed companies on environmental, social and governance (ESG) issues. The company obtained a score of 4.5 out of 5 for governance practices and 4 out of 5 for social aspects, two of the three main areas of analysis that underlie the company’s inclusion in this selective international index.
On social issues, Cellnex Telecom achieved the highest possible score (5 out of 5) in the theme of labour standards and 4 out of 5 for the social supply chain theme. In terms of business management, the area in which it performs best, the company was rated especially highly for anti-corruption measures (5 out of 5) and corporate governance (4 out of 5).

Climate Leadership award from the 2016 Carbon Disclosure Project
In the field of environmental management, we would recall that in late October Cellnex received the awar for best Spanish newcomer in the 2016 Climate Leadership Awards, an event organised by the Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP).
The CDP is one of the most recognised organisations for the assessment and dissemination of the results achieved by companies and organisations around the world in terms of environmental impact and sustainability indicators.
