United with UNICEF in favour of gender equality and against discrimination

9 years ago Cellnex decided to donate to an NGO the amount previously spent on Christmas gifts. In 2019, the campaign chosen was Unicef’s “For me and for all my companions”, which aims to fight for gender equality and against discrimination.

The action in favour of Unicef ​​is part of the Group’s Diversity and Inclusion Plan. This program is focused on girls and women who suffer discrimination in areas such as education, health, politics and economic opportunities.

Cellnex wants to respond to one of the goals set out in the company’s CSR Master Plan and contribute for a fair society by providing positive value and impact to the community. Throughout these nine years, the company has collaborated with entities such as Cáritas, Banco de Alimentos, Acción Contra El Hambre, Save The Children, Doctors Without Borders, UNHCR or Red Cross, among others.

In addition to the Corporate Responsibility policy, which takes as a reference international standards such as the United Nations Global Compact, Cellnex is part of the FTSE4GOOD, CDP (Carbon Disclosu-re Project), Sustainalytics and “Standard Ethics” sustainability indices.
