AVMOV was a special strategic project in the AVANZA plan of the Ministry of Industry, Energy and Tourism. It was aimed principally at developing an intelligent automatic platform for the real-time management, recommendation and publication of multimedia content in multi-modal transport systems, exploring the capabilities for interaction, customisation and interchange which would make these new types of multi-media content accessible in moving transport. The consortium was comprised of Abertis Telecom, Dominion, Retevision, TV3, Balearia, Alcaidesa, Vicomtech, Vilaumedia, UVigo, UPV, Ingenia and Ihman.
